[Requests to participate before 24 June] Oldham Council is seeking an architect to transform its Victorian library into a new theatre and heritage centre

The project in Oldham’s ‘cultural quarter’ is being pursued in collaboration with the city’s Coliseum Theatre. The programme includes refubishment, extension and a new build.

Described as a ‘linked complex’, the new building will house Oldham’s theatre, young people’s theatre, community arts programme, art gallery and heritage collections.

Objectives laid out for the project include boosting the Coliseum Theatre’s attendance by 15,000 to 40,000 and a 20 percent increase in public visits to the collections.

Requests to participate should be made before the 24 June through the regional online page
