Architect sought for University of Bath psychology and engineering faculties

[Requests to participate to be returned by 25 March] The University of Bath is on the hunt for one or more architect-led design teams for a new psychology building and engineering facility on its main Claverton Down campus

Divided into two lots, the contract requires architectural services from feasibility stage through to completion.

Winners must provide ‘imaginative and quality design’ while ‘minimising whole life costs’.

The 6,000m² psychology building and 8,000m² engineering facility are due to open in September 2015

Both works are expected to follow the design and build route. Other design professionals will be appointed separately.
