A multi-level medical city that replaces a ‘structurally unsound’ 1974 building. Consulting rooms are organised around a triple-height central street and waiting area.

Judges’ comments ‘The project is exemplary in its approach to sustainability, and includes the use of recycled materials, natural ventilation and night-timepurging of internal space temperatures. The building is uplifting for both staff and patients. This is a Finsbury Health Centre for the 21st century.’
