By all accounts,
Boris Johnson’s speech to the Tory Party at its Blackpool conference – his first as a London Mayoral candidate – was something of a pantomime act. ‘The man is very funny but completely shambolic,’ one bemused delegate informed Astragal. Our source went on to say that, as skilled as Boris was ‘at milking his “shambolicness”,’ he wasn’t as skilled at getting a clear message across. ‘I think Boris was trying to say that he didn’t like tall buildings, but I’m not sure,’ our man said. Just what London needs then, a man who doesn’t know what he wants apart from that he might not want tall buildings. Crystal.
