Metropolitan Workshop and Jestico + Whiles land Robin Hood Gardens revamp

These buildings have been the victim of a neglectful establishment. The residents were never consulted in an open and honest way, and many are apoplectic to discover they are to lose a place they are proud to call home. Margaret Hodge and all other responsible parties should feel ashamed that they were not able to see past their own apathy (and sacks of cash) to protect a landmark structure that deserved a more loving patron from day one. The opportunity is now lost. Let time tell if indeed a finer replacement can be mustered by Tower Hamlets and its suitors.
