Councils get 1-2-3 Core Strategy guide from CABE


Its all well saying that 'good design' should be given priority. The problem lies with judging and valuing what good design is, which is intrinsically difficult if you don't have a background in architecture or design. Most planners/councillers would struggle how to evaluate what good design is... and the hint of the day is that its not the one that ticks of the policy boxes.
