Broadgate Tower, City of London by SOM

The photographs are dishonest (surprise!) and do not show the main west facing elevation of the building which is dominated by the service cores and pretty dire. Seen from the north or south the building appears quite promising - slender and elegant, but move out of a narrow field of view and it all starts to go wrong. This building dominates the City skyline from many angles and it is the slab-like east and west elevations that are most visible.
