Nick Brown submits plans for ‘Yorkshire’s tallest tower’

Much talk of communal amenities, but the typical floor plan raises questions of the quality of the horizontal circulation - pokey corridors and absence of daylight - and of the fire escape strategy. Is that one stair adequate for a 46 storey tower with 16 flats (44 people) per floor? Post Grenfell, has the design of this building been adequately stress-tested for survivability?
