Heritage groups raise alert over works at Neave Brown’s Camden estate

I am appalled by these actions of Camden Council however I am not surprised by them. As a tenant of an apartment on the Holly Lodge estate I have experienced the size 9's of the their various different contractors who display a complete lack of sensitivity to anything created before last week and certainly do not listen to any of the tenants wishes. It is usually a question of cheapest and easiest and hang the aesthetic. They decided to take the windows out in my block, regardless of their recent replacement, eliminate all original features in the stairwell with plasterboard and will now swap original front doors for others. This resident would rather they did'nt, I own it. The steps to remedy their contravention must be 'seen' to be enforced, with subsequent works monitored.
