Archio’s ‘permanently affordable’ homes in south London approved

Comment

'The kind of forgotten garage sites we see all over London' Given the desperate demand for genuinely affordable housing there must surely be a need to ensure that such sites aren't just exploited by enterprising developers and architects to gain the maximum return. The ambition of the mayor in Walter Segal's old stamping ground to see 200 such homes in 3 years sounds rather ambitious - but might be a reflection of just how much derelict 'backland' space there is in this borough alone.
