Purcell wins Milford Haven Quay Stores regeneration job

I'm very proud of this win, which is the swansong of my time with Purcell. I was lucky to lead the design component of the bid which was led by Niall Phillips. In this role I acted as design lead, alongside the very talented emerging architects Ellie Garrard and Ross Hartland. This project played perfectly to our collective strengths within Purcell, which combine an ability to breathe new life into the derelict Quay Stores structure and unrivalled experience of working with clients to design and deliver completely new and popular cultural venues in remote reaches of our region. Drawing on experience in places like Cardigan Castle, St Fagans, YrYsgwyn, and the Wordsworth Museum Purcell are well placed to take this project forward, working with the Port Authority to create a new cultural focus for Milford Haven’s residents, workers and tourists alike. Part of me wishes I was still involved, but pastures new are calling. I hope the client can share the images soon.
