Welsh government slams brakes on 'insulting' Iron Ring landmark


Assuming that Flint Castle is a scheduled ancient monument it should surely be afforded protection from development affecting its setting, and there can't be much doubt about the impact of this large scale 'look at me' intervention on the local ambience, can there?
