David Berridge is about the only one who has put is finger on the key issue WHY WAS THERE NO EFFICIENT (IF AT ALL) FIRE WARNING SYSTEM. It is clear people were trapped in their flats not aware until to late there was a fire consuming the block. The other issues will all examined detail and the contribution Fire Regs, the renovation cladding, the management of the block when it has been established 1. what caused this catastrophic fire and 2. why did it spread so rapidly through the block when the fire fighters were on the scene within 6 minutes.
