How those Garden Bridge millions could be spent making a greener London

I think that you're missing the real point of the Garden Bridge - none of these alternative ideas are sufficiently in-your-face - they're not in suitable locations to make them attractive to the average corporate tax-dodger / sleazy politician / designer on the make or London luvvie. A shame, but there it is - and if, as reported this morning, the current Mayor of London is minded to wash his hands of the affair the country will be brought to its knees by the wholesale exodus of all the lovely sponsors and hangers-on to richer pastures where their selfless generosity and dazzling genius would be more appreciated - and rewarding.
