‘Think again’, MP tells Garden Bridge investors during Commons debate

"Happily the Garden Bridge is heading for calmer waters"? Huh?? The Heatherwick Trust still doesn't have an interest in the land on which to foot the bridge, or an implementable planning permission or necessary permits, or the money to underwrite cancellation let alone the required underwriting of the £3m annual running costs, with a funding gap which got £24m bigger after BBC Newsnight did some questioning, and is now £55m with rapidly escalating costs; they are facing a judicial review and inquiries by the NAO and the Charity Commission, tepid support from the DfT and the Mayor of London, opposition from all parties at the GLA and many MPs, and the press smelling blood; oh, and they've hit engineering problems at the Temple... did you mean the 'calmer waters' of death Paul?
