SimpsonHaugh and Partners has reported a small drop in turnover but saw pre-tax profits rise during the year to March 2015
In accounts filed at Companies House, the practice saw turnover drop to £9.4 million from £9.5 million the previous year. However while pre-tax profit grew 50 per cent from £1.8 million to £2.7 million.
During the period the AJ120 practice changed its name from Ian Simpson Architects to SimpsonHaugh and Partners and at the same time, restructured with new partner equity share ownership, in the form of SimpsonHaugh and Partners Group LLP.
Partner Rachel Haugh said: ’Following the restructure and renaming of the practice, SimpsonHaugh and Partners achieved a very positive 2015, culminating in a number of high profile project wins, including international work and new typologies for the practice, both of which are areas we’re aiming to strengthen and develop in 2016.
‘It is an exciting time, with many projects on site and we hope to maintain the momentum achieved during 2015 as we move towards completion of several key projects at the end of 2016/beginning of 2017, our 30th anniversary of establishing the practice.’
The group maintained a workforce of 113 over the period, according to the accounts.
