TP Bennett's Docklands tower loses floors but wins approval

A proposed residential tower in London’s Docklands by TP Bennett has been given the green-light after it was shrunk from 27 to 23 storeys

The approved 7 Limehouse Harbour scheme for Telford Homes close to the Crossharbour DLR station will house 134 flats.

The AJ100 practice had originally put forward a taller proposal featuring 167 apartments, but the height of the tower was reduced from 93m following negotiations with Tower Hamlets Council (AJ 21.03.14).

The scheme replaces an existing disused office building and will also include public space to the south of the new building.
