The AJ team has been nominated for three separate Professional Publishers Association (PPA) awards in recognition of the brand’s pioneering digital journalism

Not only is the AJ in contention for Content Team of the Year – a category whose finalists also include Cosmopolitan, Elle and the Radio Times – but the www.architectsjournal.co.uk has been shortlisted for Website of the Year.

It is vying for the accolade against, among others, GQ, Men’s Health and Stylist.

The PPA judges have also named the AJ’s managing editor Will Hurst on a four-strong shortlist in the race for Content Individual of the Year for his Garden Bridge investigation.

Meanwhile the AJ’s sister title, The Architectural Review, is in the running for Video Output of the Year alongside Condé Nast, Cycling Weekly, NME, The Economist Films, and Woman.

The PPA Digital Awards are hailed as the premier celebration of the leading individuals, brands and publishers within the UK consumer and business magazine media. The winners will be announced on 8 November.
