Studio RHE’s Alphabeta office building completes

  • Comment

Studio RHE has completed the £48 million retrofit of three office buildings in the City of London

Sitting on the boundary of the City of London and Shoreditch, the trio of linked buildings were originally built between 1910 and 1930 and were consolidated into one large office in the eighties.

Studio RHE’s refurbishment and extension has increased the overall size by 17 per cent creating 22,300m2 of office space.

The scheme includes a 750m2 glazed atrium, a café, a basketball court, six meeting rooms, and a cycle ramp which leads down to the office’s cycle storage.

Previous extensions to the building’s roofline have been removed and replaced with rooftop office accommodation, while new terraces provide views across London.
