Hampshire-based Ström Architects has won planning for this scheme for a replacement house in Woodbridge, Suffolk
The single-storey house, which will replace another already on the site, looks out across the River Deben.
Sat on a sloping site the project has been dug into the hill to create a two-storey entrance with a garage and other ancillary spaces.
The scheme’s upper floor containing the living spaces is constructed from a timber-frame sitting above the solid concrete lower floor.
