Search begins for the world’s best pop-up

Arpopup

AJ sister title The Architectural Review is on the hunt for the most-inspiring temporary structures built in the last five years

From temporary pavilions to art installations and public interventions, the AR is seeking the world’s best pop-up architecture.

Pop-up! considers the design ingenuity and impact of temporary structures during their lifetime, and seeks fun and fantastic examples of interim architecture. The winner will be featured in the AR in print and take home a £3,000 prize, while the shortlist will form part of a wider online discussion about excellence in the type.

Pop-ups must have been designed and built to last for less than 10 years. The project may be still standing or already dismantled.
