Save the date: AJ Small Projects 2018 launch

The AJ will be officially launching the search for the nation’s best building with a value of under £250,000 at a special event next month

The much-anticipated call for entries for the 2018 AJ Small Projects awards, sponsored for the seventh year by Marley Eternit, will be held at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studio’s office in Tottenham Street on the evening of 7 November.

Speaking at the event will be former winners Chris Dyson, who took home the award in 2014, Ruth Donnelly from Doma Architects, whose extension to a house in Harrogate shared the first prize in 2016, and David Connor, who along with Kate Darby scooped last year’s competition with their £160,000 conversion of a 17th-century cottage in rural Herefordshire.

Details of how to enter will be announced at the event and online on the day.
