Revealed: winners of RIBA Northern Ireland 2016 Awards

Just three schemes have picked up RIBA Regional Awards in Northern Ireland this year

A home from home for sick children’s families by McGonigle McGrath, a graduate school by Consarc, and a health centre by Kennedy Fitzgerald and Avanti Architects were the only schemes to be recognised with awards.

Client of the Year Home from Home, Belfast City Hospital

The winners were announced at a gala dinner at the Waterfront Hall last month.

Regional winners will be put forward for the RIBA National Awards, with the lucky recipients announced next week. Those collecting national awards will then be considered for the 2016 RIBA Stirling Prize.
