  • Comment

Schemes by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris, 5th Studio, Hawkins/Brown, and Mole Architects have been shortlisted in the RIBA East regional awards

Chosen from 38 entries, the region has 16 projects vying for its awards, including a mix of private homes, educations buildings and healthcare buildings.

Projects up for the accolades include Allies and Morrison’s multi-storey car park at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, SOUP Architect’s The Studios in Aldeburgh, and a private house in Bedford by Nissen Richards Studio.

Jon Greenfield, chairman of RIBA East, commented: ‘We have seen a diverse range of entries this year and it’s really great to see clients pushing for good design across such a broad spectrum, from small art studios through to a towering multi-storey car park – the first we’ve seen being entered for an award.’
