Urban Splash has revealed new images of its ongoing revamp of Stubbs Mill in New Islington, Manchester
The scheme by Manchester-based Sixtwo Architects, which started on site last year, will see the former machine works converted into 2,550m2 of office space.
Built between 1880 and 1930 Stubbs Mill was previously a machine works which assembled machinery Ancoats’ surrounding textile mills.
The scheme strips back the building to its original features including exposed steel beams, brickwork and machinery. It also includes a north lit roof with 4m-tall ceiling heights.
The office development also features a full height atrium, break-out spaces, and a private courtyard.
