Ollier Smurthwaite Architects has submitted plans for the transformation of a mill site in Droylsden, near Manchester
The scheme will transform the 12,000m2 Victoria Mill site into 131 new homes, shops and offices, and a community space.
The buildings will include a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom maisonettes and two, three, and four-bedroom townhouses.
Spread across 14 blocks arranged around a central public square, the project attempts to create an ‘urban village’.
