Prolific designer Morag Myerscough, known for her vibrant and bold graphics, will be among a host of big names speaking at a free event on colour organised by the AJ and Dulux Trade later this month

The founder of Studio Myerscough will join leading Classical architect George Saumarez Smith who will be painting a work of art live during the event at the Material Lab in central London on 23 April.

James Pickard of Cartwright Pickard Architects and James Allison of Bennetts Associates will also be talking about how they have relied on colour in a number of recently completed schemes.

The panel of experts includes Mike Levey, head of design and procurement at Newlon Housing Trust, Daniela Meloni, of award-winning design agency Atelier Works, Louise Tod, colour expert and trend forecaster for AkzoNobel, and Caroline Jenkinson, head of arts and tourism at London Borough of Camden.

Guests will enjoy drinks, listen to panel discussions and find out about the latest Dulux Trade Colour Palette Collection and associated range of innovative digital tools.

Following the talks, attendees will be able to view the colourful artwork swiftly created by George, a director at ADAM Architecture.

The event is free but places are limited. RSVP is essential.
