Memorial fund launched in memory of eco-architect Paul Hinkin

  • Comment

A fund to help disadvantaged architecture students at the Welsh School of Architecture has been set up in memory of Black Architecture founder Paul Hinkin

Hinkin, who founded the sustainable design practice in 2004, died earlier this year (AJ 18.08.14).

The Paul Hinkin Memorial Fund will be awarded annually to a second year architecture student at Cardiff University, where Hinkin studied and later went on to become a visiting critic.

The fund is aimed at students from disadvantaged backgrounds who show a ‘dedication and commitment to sustainable design’.
