Live and let dai - James Bond denied entry to Welsh Assembly

The producers of the new James Bond film have been refused permission to film in the Welsh Senedd building, designed by Richard Rogers.

Despite recent Bond films including such architectural highlights as Paranal Residencia by Auer + Weber and Terry Farrell’s MI6 building in London, the assembly turned down the film-makers’ request, insisting that its main debating chamber, the Siambr, was not a ‘drama studio’.
