Jestico + Whiles has completed this sixth form centre at Stoke Newington School in London
The new 589m² block links to an existing school extension and the original 1960s Brutalist school building.
The practice said it wanted the new £1.4million building to preserve ‘the existing play space throughout’ while ‘simultaneously making a connection with the existing building’.
The practice had already carried out work at the school in 2010, when it redeveloped the whole school as part of the Building Schools for the Future Programme.
