Eco-practice Jerry Tate Architects has renamed as Tate Harmer to recognise the work of partner Rory Harmer
Harmer became a partner at the Hackney-based practice back in 2013 after starting at the Jerry Tate Architects in 2008.
Jerry Tate, said: ‘Rory and I have been developing our practice together since we started it and Rory became a partner in 2013, so it seems totally natural that we should change the name of the practice to reflect our joint endeavor. We look forward to working with our fantastic team at Tate Harmer on our really exciting and diverse range of current and future projects’.
Rory Harmer added: ‘I am really excited to be entering into the next phase of our practice, and as we take on new types of projects we look forward to establishing Tate Harmer as great architecture practice.’
The office, which completed the tree level walkway at the Eden Centre alongside a number of private houses and education facilities, also runs the live-build Dartmoor Arts Spatial Structures course.
