AJ columnist Ian Martin has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for a book of his satirical architecture columns

Martin’s first column appeared in the AJ in 1990 when he wrote about the cultural significance of the boozy lunch.

The Emmy-winning writer is now planning an anthology of the best of his AJ pieces entitled Epic Space.

For £10 those who pledge to fund Martin’s tome will receive a digital edition of the book, while those who offer £250 in support will be treated to lunch up the Shard with the comedy writer himself.

The campaign, which launched yesterday (22 December), has already received 35 per cent of its target.
