Guy Hollaway reveals Canterbury student scheme

Guy Hollaway has revealed plans for a 563-bed student housing scheme in Canterbury, Kent

The 17,500m² Rhodaus Town project has been arranged around a landscaped garden square and features a mix of mix of studio, cluster and large apartments.

The buildings, which will sit just outside Canterbury’s historic city wall on a former Peugeot garage, has a sculpted façade which has been ‘inspired by arrow slits in the turrets of the adjacent city wall’.

The propsoed project scheme will also feature leisure facilities at ground level including a new gym and student study areas.

A public consultation on the scheme is set to launch on Thursday (30 October).
