Guerrilla Tactics: last chance for early bird rates

Last chance to register for ‘early bird’ rates for Guerrilla Tactics - the must-attend, annual event for small and emerging practices

Delegates interested in attending this year’s Guerrilla Tactics event at the RIBA - entitled Archi-preneurs (11-12 November) - have until the end of today (13 October) to benefit from the heavily discounted prices.

Curated by Will Hunter of the AJ’s sister publication The Architectural Review, the two-day conference will explore the essential business skills for small practices and includes keynote talks and advisory sessions.

The first day will end with a live pitch which will see practices compete to ‘Reinvent the Pub for the 21st Century’, followed by a ‘Mentoring Speed-Dating’ session over networking drinks.

The second day of the event features more than 30 seminars, which count towards CPD accreditation, covering all 10 RIBA Core Curriculum topics.

Speakers include Nigel Coates, founder of Nigel Coates Studio; Farshid Moussavi, director of Farshid Moussavi Architects; Rory Hyde, curator of contemporary architecture and urbanism, V&A Museum; and Martyn Evans, creative director of Cathedral Group.

Early bird rates of £175 for one day and £275 for both days are available until the end of Monday (13 October 2014), after which rates increase to £250 to attend for one day and £350 to attend both days.
