Frank Gehry has drawn up plans for two more buildings for Facebook next to its new massive California office

The two proposed buildings at Menlo Park follow on from the 40,000m² open-plan office which staff began to move into last week.

According to the planning documents ‘the proposed design for the new office buildings embodies a similar approach to the newly competed Building 20’.

The new offices will amount to nearly 100,000m2 and will be linked by a 20,000m2 public park.

The pair of offices are planned to complete in phases and will be connected by bridges linking all the buildings on the campus into a single expansive workplace.

The technology giant is also planning a further mixed-use development of homes and shops for its 10,000 employees dubbed ‘Zee Town’.
