Frank Gehry’s new building for Louis Vuitton in Paris is nearing completion
Designed by American architect Frank Gehry, the new building for the fashion designer is said to ‘resemble a cloud of glass’.
The 11,700m² building includes 11 exhibition galleries which will be dedicated to Louis Vuitton’s private collection, alongside space for temporary exhibitions and artists’ commissions and a flexible 350-seat auditorium space.
Terraces on the upper levels of the building provide panoramic views of Paris and the Jardin d’Acclimation which Gehry used as his inspiration for the project.
The building is set to open at the end of October.
