Fletcher Priest lands planning for Manchester office scheme

Fletcher Priest has won planning for a 22,297m² office scheme, billed as a new ‘type of workplace’, within Manchester’s First Street development

The project, which is part of ASK’s First Street development, sits on the same square as Mecanoo’s HOME and SimpsonHaugh and Partners’ 200-bed bright red Innside Hotel.

According to the practice, the new building will ‘support 21st century ways of working and living in the city’.

The scheme is arranged in three paired floors of offices which sit above street-level cafes and a bike shop.

It also features double-storey weather-proof winter gardens at opposite corners of the building which provide a views over the rest of the development.
