Invisible Studio reveals its new £15,000 office

Invisible Studio has built a larch-clad office, near Bath, as a workspace for the practice

The self-build project, which was designed and built by Invisible Studio, will become the Bath office for the practice founded by Piers Taylor.

Built adjacent to Taylor’s AJ Small Projects winning house, the 55m² office is raised above a workshop, which will be used for full-scale model making, and accessed by a timber bridge.

The building was constructed from unseasoned and untreated timber grown and milled on site, has windows scavenged from a skip, a compost toilet and will be heated by timber waste from the site.
