Zaha Hadid Architects has released the first images of its ‘residences’ complex within the Milan Fiera mega site
The residential development sits next to three proposed towers, designed by Arata Isozaki, Zaha Hadid and Daniel Libeskind (pictured below), which are being built on the 255,000m² plot - once the site of the Italian city’s trade fair.
Each architect is also designing living quarters for the scheme which is being bankrolled by the CityLife Consrtium.
Zaha Hadid’s Residences, which range in height from five to 13 storeys, are in the south-east of the site and feature seven buildings arranged end-to-end.
Housing nearly 230 flats and creating 45,000m² of living space, the residences are due to complete in the Spring.
