Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios (FCBS) has been given the green light for its regeneration of a 1970s housing estate in West Ealing, London

The practice is working for Affinity Sutton Group on the revamp of the seventies Sherwood Close housing estate.

A further 184 private houses will be added to the estate’s existing 209 homes.

According to the practice ‘the surrounding urban fabric ensuring the new street pattern integrates directly into the local neighbourhood’.

New streets will be lined with houses and front doors will re-establish the traditional street frontage.

Construction of the development will be phased to ensure residents can remain while work in carried out.

The scheme is set to complete in 2018.
