FCBS scoops planning for Passivhaus Kellogg College hub

Feilden Clegg Bradley Studio has won planning for a new social space at Kellogg College at the University of Oxford

PROJECT DATA • PLANS • ELEVATION

The 334m2 Passivhaus scheme includes a new café and common room for staff, students and visitors to the listed college building. 

The project sits at the centre of the college’s Banbury Road site within the North Oxford Victorian Suburb Conservation Area. 

Located the centrally, the brick hub building attempts to link the site’s different historic gardens and its south facing façade opens out onto a shaded terrace overlooking a central social garden.

The scheme is set to complete in 2017.
