Matlock-based Evans Vettori has submitted plans for a new £10.4million reception and environment centre at Nottingham Trent University’s ural Brackenhurst campus, near Southwell
The project is the latest by the practice for the University, having completed the £7million teaching pavilion as part of its new Heart of the Campus development at Clifton (see AJ 11.12.15).
The 2,300m² naturally ventilated building will feature a timber structure clad in buff brick and will house a new public exhibition area, café, flexible lecture theatre, classrooms and offices.
Work is expected to start on site this autumn and complete in early 2019.
