East submits 36-home east London housing scheme

  • Comment

East has submitted plans for a 36-home housing scheme to Newham Council

The London-based practice has drawn up the 3,497m² plans in Prince Regent Lane, near Plaistow Park for developer P R Seth.

According to the firm, the brick and concrete building has a ’horizontal emphasis’, which relates ’to the sweeping slope’ of the street and to ’reduce the sense of vertical mass’.

The proposed flats are laid out in a scissored arrangement making them all dual aspect .

A future timescale is not yet known.
