A preferred site has been identified (part green field part brown field) but full involvement of all stakeholders will be required to develop the initial brief to ensure all client requirements are met.
The total estimated gross internal floor area from the schedule of accommodation is 1783m². The capital construction cost has been estimated at 3.2M GBP exc VAT.
The architect is to employ or engage as sub contractors, mechanical and electrical services engineers, CDM co-ordinator, civil and structural engineers and other specialist consultants they deem necessary. The construction contract will be let by the Board. It will be administered, and the works inspected by the architect with the support of his sub contractors.
