Derwent London is gearing up to begin construction of three major schemes in the capital
The developer revealed in its results statement for the six months to 30 June 2013 that it would be starting on more than 32,000m² of space within the next 12 months.
This largely consists of AHMM’s 26,800m² White Collar Factory scheme at Old Street roundabout. The City of London scheme, featuring a 16-storey office tower, is due to start on site towards the end of the first quarter of 2014.
Derwent also intends to start on DSDHA’s residential and office development at 73 Charlotte Street in late 2013.
ORMS’ Tottenham Court Road refurbishment, which will see a new retail destination created at an extended 1-2 Stephen Street complex, will start on site by next summer.
Derwent has a further 32,900m² of consented schemes further back in the pipeline, including a mixed-use scheme above Tottenham Court Road station, which is expected to start on site in 2018.
