Works begins on Groves Natcheva's Brockley homes

  • Comment

Construction has started on this nine home, £1.1 million development by Groves Natcheva Architects in the Brockley Conservation area of Lewisham, South London.

The 625m², competition-winning scheme features five single-storey, pavilion-like apartments sat behind a pair of four-storey, timber framed apartment blocks.

According to practice co-founder Murray Groves all the units have their own private amenity space with the ‘the pedestrian street bringing a more communal feel - the idea of the mews.’

Work is due to complete on the development for Bernard Construction in January 2013.

Earlier this month the West London-based practice also started on site with another housing project, for the same client, opposite Tulse Hill Railway Station, London.
