RIBA Awards 2014: London shortlist revealed

Renzo Piano’s Shard, Zaha Hadid’s Aquatic Centre and Caruso St John’s Tate Britain scheme among the buildings shortlisted for RIBA Awards in the London region

A total of 64 projects have been shortlisted in the London region for this year’s RIBA Awards.

With an impressive four buildings Haworth Tompkins have the most projects on the shortlist with Duggan Morris and Allies and Morrison both bagging three nominations.

The architects will find out whether they have won a Regional Award at a ceremony in London on the 6 May.

Regional winners will be put forward for the RIBA National Awards, with the lucky recipients announced in June. Those collecting national awards will then be considered for the 2014 RIBA Stirling Prize.
