Hadid proposes office tower with 'world's tallest atrium'

  • Comment

Zaha Hadid Architects has revealed proposals for this 46-storey skyscraper in southwest Beijing China

The Leeza Soho project will feature the world’s tallest atrium – a 200m-high space which extends the full height of the ‘gently twisting’ cylindrical tower.

The office-led scheme features an underground promenade linking the subway station below the site, through the building to a proposed public park to the west.

As well as parking space for 480 cars, the project includes enough room for 2,680 bikes and features a 3D BIM energy management system that ‘monitors in real-time environmental control and energy efficiency’.
