The urban heat island effect, noise and pollution are endemic in Singapore, and indeed any large city. Is it possible to reverse this development, and reverse the UHI to make urban areas more comfortable and sustainable? In this podcast, Dr Gerhard Schmitt of ETH Global presents ideas scenarios towards the goal of a ‘tropical ideal city’.
