The capital’s first festival of light will illuminate the city this weekend at more than 30 different locations
Westminster Abbey will be among the London landmarks lit up this weekend as the Lumiere London festival gets underway.
The Abbey will be lit in neon technicolour by Patrick Warrener while an illuminated aquarium in a telephone box by Benedetto Bufalino and Benoit Deseill can be found in Grosvenor Square.
Meanwhile, Leicester Square will be decorated with large structures of plants and flowers and a glowing male figure will perch on a building, overlooking St James’s Square.
The festival runs between 14 and 17 January from 6.30 to 10.30 pm and includes over 30 illuminated art works around the city.
